So tomorrow is my first assessment at college, very very nervous about it, i'll be so glad when its over. Absolutely terrified. Looking forward to getting the next brief though, hopefully it'll be more up my street. God i hope i wake up in time tomorrow morning.

So, i've really been getting into photography, i still don't really know what i'm doing to be honest but i'm really enjoying myself. Finished my frist two projects at college/uni (which merged into one project because i was able to tie them together), i was all set for my assessment yesterday until i was told that it's been postponed... the one time in my life when i am ready and prepared i have to wait. Oh well, at least i'm ready.
Been doing a bit of inking again too, no where near finished though, this time i'm actually doing them properly thanks to my nice new a3 printer/scanner! So yeah, i'm feeling pretty good about things at least in terms of creativity, personally i'm still a mess though but never mind.
I've also got my first batch of Blu Rays, oh my god, cannot believe how amazing they look, got 300, Sin City Extended, Superman Returns, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete and Hellboy II The Golden Army. District 9 and the full 4 disc version of Watchmen are next in my sights, just have to wait for them to come out over here.

So, i've been at college/uni a couple months now, starting to get into the swing of things, got my student loan through on Friday so now i can really get stuck in. Got a real nice A3 printer/scanner (Brother DCP-6690CW) sitting next to me, just waiting for my new Digital SLR (Canon EOS 500D) and i can kick my first to project's into gear. The first is on Surface and Layer where as the second is about Memories, luckily i've managed to link the two!
Just been watching the Invincible mtv animation type thingy show, really enjoying it so far, always meant to pick up some of the trades for invincible and i'm definitely going to be doing that now, waiting for 4 more volumes of walking dead to arrive too, guess i'm having a bit of a kirkman-fest.

I'm going to try to keep an up to date journal about my experience at college. I thought i'd start now seeing as i started my first piece of work for the course today, 4 self portraits...
I HATE doing self portraits, i don't even like looking in the mirror briefly in the morning let alone having to stare at myself for an hour while i draw myself. Still, i'm doing this course to re-learn and to whipe clean all my bad art habits i've developed so i'm not going to complain.
I've got 1 more to do then i have the full 4 required, i'll probably do more than 4 thought as i'm still very rusty.
I enroll next Thursday! Eep!

i've got an unconditional place on an art degree course, oooohhhhh yyyyeeeeeeaaaahhhh!
